50 major airlines: PSS, inventory and revenue management systems

Which passenger service system does an airline use? Who provides its inventory and revenue management technology? This independent reference compares 50 editorially selected major passenger airlines, showing original evidence for each technology attribution and leaving undocumented fields unverified.

Accuracy first. This is a 50-airline research scope, not a ranked top-50-by-passengers list. Technology relationships change. A contract, renewal, product selection or legacy implementation announcement is not proof of current live scope. Evidence descriptions preserve that distinction. No internal airline information is used.

How to interpret this directory

PSS refers to passenger service systems supporting functions such as reservations, inventory and departure control. Inventory is recorded separately only when identified by a source. Revenue management is not inferred from the PSS vendor. A PSS vendor's airline-customer list may identify a technology portfolio but not the particular product used by an airline.

“Not publicly verified” means the editorial review did not establish a sufficiently clear attribution from primary public evidence. It does not mean that the airline does not use such a system. Each confirmed entry shows its source, original publication date, date reviewed and any limitations on what is established.

The order shown is editorial, not a passenger-volume or technology ranking. Unverified entries remain visible so readers can see the research gaps.

Editorial method and primary sources

  1. Review official technology-provider statements, airline releases or regulatory filings. Secondary summaries alone do not establish a claim.
  2. Separate PSS provider, named PSS product, inventory and RMS into distinct fields with independently supported evidence.
  3. Describe evidence states precisely, including renewal, earlier implementation, contracted adoption and historical relationship. Do not silently upgrade old evidence into a 2026 live claim.
  4. Display the date of every primary statement. A claim can be updated or removed if a newer source contradicts it.
  5. Keep missing technology fields unverified and do not infer vendor use from alliance membership, GDS distribution or another airline in a group.

Examples of authoritative underlying documentation include Amadeus's investor prospectus and Sabre's 2026 WestJet PSS renewal. See individual evidence disclosures for field-level links. Read the site's editorial standards.

Frequently asked questions

Is Amadeus Altéa the same as Navitaire New Skies?

No. They are distinct passenger service platforms within Amadeus's airline IT portfolio. A broad Amadeus customer list alone cannot prove which platform an airline operates.

Does using SabreSonic mean an airline uses Sabre Revenue Optimizer?

No. PSS and RMS contracts are separate. This directory lists RMS technology only when the relevant product and airline relationship are explicitly documented.

Are airline PSS announcements proof of a completed migration?

No. An announced selection or planned migration is not evidence that the new system has gone live. A later implementation confirmation is needed.

Why are some fields marked not publicly verified?

Airlines do not always disclose their systems or implementation scopes publicly. Accuracy takes precedence over filling every field.
